The Morning Series: December 18th
Another week coming to an end. I am happy to announce that our flat is finally back in order. All the work being done that had been creating a chaotic living environment is done. With that behind us, the week seemed so peaceful and soothing. I was able to refocus and get back on track with a clear routine. On the days without routine I realized how important those slow mornings were to me. What I missed most was sketching to get my creativity flowing. The days that I still had the time to do it were always significantly better than the ones I did not. Dedicating more time to practice my skills with some structure has really helped me find myself again as an illustrator. I'm really excited about it and I want to start selling some pieces in the shop next year!
Speaking of next year...it's right around the corner. Can you believe it?! We are heading back to the states shortly to be with our loved ones for Christmas. The time between our last trip home in September to now flew by and we are looking forward to arriving in Boston this weekend. We will be back in London for New Years though and look forward to being in such a lively city for the celebration. I think 2016 has some good things in store for us and I can't wait to see!
This is going to be our last weekly update for the morning series. Have no fear though! We are just making the switch to monthly updates so we can be sure to keep sharing what we are up to with our sketching here.
